  • Guided by a family-centered care philosophy, the neonatal nursing team at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital developed WINGS, a nationally leading smart continuum-of-care model for very low birth weight preterm infants. Through innovative, nurse-led system design and long-term implementation, the team has achieved significant improvements in workflow optimization, real-time risk alerts, and patient safety assurance.
  • Integrating antenatal preterm warning systems, immediate thermal protection and transfer support at admission, neonatal identification and integrated vital sign monitoring, closed-loop medication and transfusion management, nutrition feeding, family communication platforms, and post-discharge home care linkage, WINGS covers the entire continuum of preterm infant care. Each innovation reflects the close integration of nursing expertise and smart technology.
